Tyre Collections
We offer a comprehensive tyre collection service for farms, garages and tyre fitting centres.
For Farms we clear both ex Silage clamp tyres and farms with a few tyres off of farm vehicles.
We use a variety of collection vehicles depending on the number to be collected, from a 4x4 and trailer for the smaller job to Large Walking Floor Lorries which can hold 2500 car tyres.
Access can restrict the vehicle choice open to us.
Customers normally help the loading process by providing manpower and Telehandlers to load depending on the number of tyres to be collected. We normally charge per tyre depending on the size of tyre.
The tyres that we collect we classify into three main Categories
Car tyres which includes 4x4 tyres
Truck and trailer tyres, which includes super single lorry tyres
Tractor and plant tyres
We can also deal with plant, tractor rubber tracks and tyres on rims.
We are now able to offer an on site service to remove tyres from the rims. The cost depends on the quantities and types to be dealt with, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
The cleanliness and age of farm tyres limits the routes available for recycling, now that landfill of tyres has been banned.
We have a number of recycling routes which include baling tyres into a rubber bale which goes into the centre of a concrete block for uses such as improving river banks. Chipped tyres still containing wire can be used in landfill engineering or if chipped and the wire is removed other uses can be made such as horse ménages or play ground surfaces.
